Webkinz Fall Festival Starts Today. It will run from Saturday, September 19th until the end of Friday, September 25th.

There are nine prizes to be won… six you’ve seen before and three are completely new!
Below are the pictures of the 3 new items. They are the Baked Butternut Squash, Autumn Striped Sweater and the Pressed Leaf Wall Plate! So watch for floating leaves and click on them to get one of the nine available prizes.

Also don’t forget to enter the Autumn Arrival Contest. Ganz will be awarding five winners a prize pack containing one of each of the 15 Fall Festival prize, from past and present festivals.

First up the Springtime Celebration Bunny contest has been extended. Below is a description of that contest by Ganz:

“Spring is in and yellow is fun! We’re looking for Small rooms that feature the most creative use of yellow furniture and decorations from the W Shop.”

“Can you imagine Spring as a superhero? What special abilities might he or she have? Write a paragraph describing what a Spring superhero might be like – the sillier the better!”

Webkinz News (Kinzvile News) posted the following statement on their site about the issues with the site. I have been unable to log onto my account for 3 days, but they say everything should be fixed by tomorrow.

“This weekend we had a hardware failure with one of our many servers. We are currently in the process of fixing this issue. The impact of this failure is that the Curio Shop information for today was not created, and currently you will be unable to visit Arte. Daily information – like whether you’ve spun the Wheel of Wow – has also not been reset. While the majority of or members can continue to play in Webkinz World, some members may find that they cannot access the site. We expect all of these issues to be fixed by tomorrow.

For members who wished to enter this weekend’s Spring Celebration Bunny contest but were unable to, we will be adding one more day to the contest, later this week. Please watch Webkinz Newz for more information.”

The Spring Equinox marks the start of Spring, and is also when the day is just as long as the night. But did you ever wonder why? We’re looking for a creative, original paragraph that explains the Equinox or why we have seasons – the sillier the better! The prize for this contest is an eStore exclusive Violetwing Butterfly virtual pet.

Submitted stories will be judged on creativity, grammar and style. Submissions must be original pieces of work. Odds of winning are based on the number of entries received.
